You’re my little sunshine…

Hello Reader;

So i am sharing with you another ‘grab bag’ layout, it seems that the grab bag pages get my mojo going, because perversely every time i buy papers i like i never end up using them straight away but when the grab bag comes i open it up and off i go!  The papers i don’t know who’s brand they are but the fact that they were in a grab bag i would assume means that they are probably from a past season so most likely irrelevant, the banner flags were from bits left on my table.  The bottle caps i found in my stash a while ago and i flattened them with my big shot and popped a circle of patterned paper in before covering with glossy accents, i added a metal brad and a heart shaped paperclip. My sequins i threw at the page a few times then glued down the bits that looked like they were in the right place- a patented technique I’ll have you know 🙂

By the Sea … {part 2}

Hello Reader

The scrapbook layout i am sharing with you today matches the one i shared before, except this is the project life/pocket style one for my multiple pictures. It uses the same papers, as the previous one. When i do a project life style layout i usually print my pictures smaller using my selphy printer so that i can get multiple pictures on a layout plus i can get 4-8 pictures on one print, meaning it saves me money plus they’re cute 🙂 I made the cards myself using scrapbooking papers using scraps from the other page to embellish and tie them together, i even used some of the sea glass we collected on the page.

By the Sea…

Hello Reader;

I wanted to scrap our day out to the beach but i don’t really do themed papers anchors and the what not’s would not be my thing, so when i saw these in a grab bag i had ordered from Hey Little Magpie i had to get to work straight away. I tend to do a one 12×12 page when i am scrapping an event or outing and then a page of pocket style to match. Loved these papers not something i would have picked myself which is why the grab bags work so well for me as they make me think out of my normal comfort zone, plus they’re flipping good value at £3.99 for 20 sheets. I added details with my stapler it has to be one of my most used bits of kit.

Spring Florals {part two}

Hello Reader,

Today i will be sharing with you the second layout of my spring floral layout, this was done in the project life style as i had quite a few photos that i wanted to add. I made the cards using the same papers and some of the bits that i gutted from the other layout so that they co-ordinated well together.{supplies from Hey Little Magpie, papers a mix of Jillybean and Simple Stories, metal embellishment and doilies from my stash}

Spring Florals

Hello Reader,

Today i am sharing a scrapbook page, lots of layers on this one, the circle was cut from one of the papers and used the lines printed to cut the circle and then to write words that described the person in the photo along them. {scrapbook papers from Hey Little Magpie –JillyBean Saffron i think} I like to do twirly doodles on my pages round the edges as it gives it a little finishing touch, i also added glimmer paper to this layout.  This layout has a matching project life style page that i will share with you another day.

Twisted Heart…

2016-02-04 12.29.28

Hello Reader;

Today i am sharing with you a layout that i recently made, it is quite labour intensive but i love the effect.  I created a template with copier paper and then used a piercing tool to punch holes around the outline i then sewed between and across the holes in the heart until every hole was filled 🙂 i think it took about an hour and then once it was finished i popped my photo mounts on and decorated with rhinestones and gems.
