Floral thank you …

Hello Reader;

Today i am sharing with you a card made with one of Stampin’ Up! Sale-a-bration items, that were on offer this year.  I really liked this set its one where you can build dimension with different shading by using the three different stamps for the flower head.  I like to have a lot of thank you cards handy for when i need them. This one was so quick to replicate quickly.

Floral Happy Days…{Part two}

2016-03-31 20.23.11

Hello Reader,

The layout i am sharing with you today is the matching layout for the one i shared previously.  It was made using my Like For Ever monthly kit, this months kit focused on My Minds Eye on trend 2 range.  This is the first time i have used typing printed from the computer, to do my journaling.  I really liked the clean effect it gave, and although it wont replace handwriting on my layouts for me but i will probably use it more for project life style layouts.

Floral Happy Days …

Hello Reader;

The layout i am sharing with you today was made using my Like For Ever monthly kit, this months kit focused on My Minds Eye on trend 2 range. I loved this kit – although there seemed to be a lot of flamingos?!? Flamingos seem to be the in thing at the moment; in the shops as well as in craft lines… can’t say that they do much for me! lol I used a large gold floral rub on on this page, its been a long time since i have used rub ons.  These ones went on really well and easily, so i will be looking out for more when i next buy supplies.  There was also these lovely acrylic shapes in the kit, for this layout i chose the one that matched the rub on and the flowers on the foil papers.

Hello Reader;

This layout was made using my Like Forever Kit from March, this kit focused on supplies from an Australian company called Coco Daisy – lovely papers and embellishments.  This layout was inspired by a sketch from a challenge from the LFE subscriber facebook group.  All i added to the kit from my stash was the white base and twine, the wooden stick girls and a few sequins and gems.

Yellow Blooms…

Hello Reader;

The card i am sharing with you today takes a little bit of time but i think its worth it 🙂 I started by layering up the background stamp elements in a collage-style.  Then i stamped the flower image twice on another piece of card and i water coloured it with my inkpads.  I then fussy cut it twice and layered up the images in a decoupage way picking out the main stem of the flower. I then added the greeting and matted and layered the panel on to the card base

Seven years strong …

Hello Reader,

Today’s layout is one of my most favourite that i have made lately, i was really pleased with it when i finished it.  ‘’The papers are by Gossamer Blue, and came in a grab bag from Hey Little Magpie – again i ended up using the grab bag papers before my chosen papers! lol This layout was made from two sheets of paper, i added doilies and buttons from Stampin’ Up! The wooden figures are Freckled  Fawn and the stickers are from my stash.  I also did some pricking and i stitched a little with a hemp-type twine.

Hello Reader,

The layout that i am sharing with you today was inspired by a card sketch that i saw on pinterest.  Lots of banners and circles layered up then i added in a photo mount adhered with washi tape and finished off with some enamel dots and rhinestones.  All supplies are from Stampin’ Up!

Balloons for you…

Hello Reader,

Quick card for you today, the patterned paper {DSP} is from Stampin’ Up! and i simply mounted it on a coordinating layer of cardstock stamped and punched the greeting and did the same.  Then mounted onto a simple white base – from Stampin’ Up they have their lovely smooth whisper white cardstock in a ‘thick’ version now which is great for making card bases – i then finished off with a rhinestone.

Hello Reader,

A very simple layout from me today, i simply cut the layers to the correct size and then layered them up. Added a bit of journaling and some die cut letters and i was done 🙂 I have made a conscious effort to make sure that i scrap some layouts about me, what i do and my favourite things so that the girls have these to look back on in years to come 🙂

Hello Reader;

Today’s card is a simple coloured stamped image on a pre-made notecard base, I like to keep a small stock of these notecards so that i can make small cards quickly.  The image is from Penny Black and i have coloured it using spectrum noir pencils and then blended with fluid and stumps, then quickly mounted on to a notecard base.
