Seven years strong …

Hello Reader,

Today’s layout is one of my most favourite that i have made lately, i was really pleased with it when i finished it.  ‘’The papers are by Gossamer Blue, and came in a grab bag from Hey Little Magpie – again i ended up using the grab bag papers before my chosen papers! lol This layout was made from two sheets of paper, i added doilies and buttons from Stampin’ Up! The wooden figures are Freckled  Fawn and the stickers are from my stash.  I also did some pricking and i stitched a little with a hemp-type twine.

Hello Reader;

So i am sharing with you another ‘grab bag’ layout, it seems that the grab bag pages get my mojo going, because perversely every time i buy papers i like i never end up using them straight away but when the grab bag comes i open it up and off i go!  The papers i don’t know who’s brand they are but the fact that they were in a grab bag i would assume means that they are probably from a past season so most likely irrelevant, the banner flags were from bits left on my table.  The bottle caps i found in my stash a while ago and i flattened them with my big shot and popped a circle of patterned paper in before covering with glossy accents, i added a metal brad and a heart shaped paperclip. My sequins i threw at the page a few times then glued down the bits that looked like they were in the right place- a patented technique I’ll have you know 🙂

By the Sea…

Hello Reader;

I wanted to scrap our day out to the beach but i don’t really do themed papers anchors and the what not’s would not be my thing, so when i saw these in a grab bag i had ordered from Hey Little Magpie i had to get to work straight away. I tend to do a one 12×12 page when i am scrapping an event or outing and then a page of pocket style to match. Loved these papers not something i would have picked myself which is why the grab bags work so well for me as they make me think out of my normal comfort zone, plus they’re flipping good value at £3.99 for 20 sheets. I added details with my stapler it has to be one of my most used bits of kit.
